Position: Data Specialist

Location:  Hillsboro, Ohio

Nature & Scope:  Responsible for assisting and preparation of monthly management reports which requires proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Additionally, responsible for programming queries and performing loan data mining within the servicing system for various reports required by senior management, auditors, or departments. Responsible to insure all benchmarks are updated within required guidelines by all team members. Responsible for data integrity checks regarding new loan setup sheets. Required to assist with processing paid-in-full documents within required state guidelines and within benchmarks. Setup CULS loan accounts on scheduled weeks. Responsible for Debit Card Reconciliation, customer phone calls, to assist back up for end of day totals.

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Responsible for data warehouse reports which includes programming queries and loan data mining on a daily or monthly basis for reports due to various individuals within the bank. 
  • Responsible for assisting with monthly management reports and insuring department benchmark reports are updated by team members within required time frame. 
  • Responsible to assist with testing of new system releases. 
  • Process paid in full documents within state guidelines. Prepare UCC Terminations, Release of titles, etc. 
  • Customer Service inquires via telephone and in person. 
  • Responsible for internal database requests for loan file maintenance.
  • Responsible to prepare the Debit Card Reconciliation on a monthly basis. 
  • New Loan Setup Sheets - Insure data integrity; work with Post Closing and Accounting to clear outages. 
  • Responsible for internal database requests for loan file maintenance. 
  • Boarding CULS pools to the system during scheduled weeks and all other duties assigned. 
  • Assist back up for end of day totals.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Preferred Associate in Accounting, Business or Computer Science. 
  • Preferred two years customer service banking experience. 
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to multitask. 
  • Must be able to work independently and have strong analytical skills.
